Logical Reasoning: Cracking Seating Arrangements

Logical Reasoning (LR) is where you can score a perfect 20/20 if you keep a cool head. Seating arrangement questions are basically "detective work." You get a bunch of clues, and you have to find where everyone sits.
The Golden Rules of LR 🧩
1. Left vs Right
This is where everyone fails. If people are facing North, your left is their left. If they face South, it’s reversed! If they are in a Circle, imagine you are sitting in that chair facing the center.
2. The "Fixed" Start 📍
Never start with a clue that says "A is somewhere to the left of B." That’s too vague. Start with a "Concrete Clue" like "C sits at the extreme right end" or "D sits exactly in the middle."
3. Draw, Don't Think ✏️
Use symbols (A for Amit, B for Bharat). Draw the line or circle immediately. If there are two possibilities, draw two diagrams side-by-side. As you read more clues, one diagram will naturally become "impossible," leaving you with the right answer.
4. Don't Overthink
Usually, the most "obvious" placement is the correct one. Don't go looking for conspiracies!
